The Indochina war is completely discredited, with 3/k of all Americans now in favor of complete withdrawal in 1971« The actions projected for this spring can play a decisive part in realizing the people's demand for peace. These actions would be very expensive to carry out in any period. In this time of the Nixon recession many have felt compelled to reduce contributions. We ask you to think how much you've given against your will on the warmakers' Form 10/fO to finance death and destruction in Southeast Asia, and then to fill out this Form lOifO for peace...thinking over each item listed and many more that could be listed, and acting in the spirit of sacrifice for the now-realizable goal of peace for America and the long-suffering people of Indochina. 1. How much did you earn in 1970? Think about it and go on to the next question. 2. How much of the earnings did you send to the the Infernal Revenue Service to give the Pentagon the men and tools to carry on aggression worldwide? Think and go on to 3. 3. How much would it be worth to you to ensure a massive turnout of Vietnam vets for their April 19-23 demonstrations and intensive lobbying of Congress and other power centers for an end to the war? Fill in $ /f. How much would it be worth to you to have April 2<Vth be the largest peace action in the history of the country? It can be done! Fill in $ 5. How much would it be worth to you to have Washington swamped in the last week of April and first week of May with people's lobbyists for peace, with militancy ascending to a nationwide day of local protests and stoppages on May 5th, anniversary of the Jackson and Kent State murders, domestic fruits of Nixon's Cambodian aggression? Fill in.... $ 6. How much would it be worth to you to make the May 16 Armed Forces Day support actions for antiwar GI's at bases throughout the country a massive show of civilian-GI unity against the war and the final blow of the spring peace offensive, far eclipsing those of last year which forced the brass to cancel ceremonies at 23 bases? Fill in. $ 7. How much would it be worth to you to see Veterans Stars St Stripes for Peace resume regular publication, held up by lack of funds? We need $1,000.00 per issue, including mailing costs.
